Kenpo Karate offers one the ability to learn usable self-defense, the awareness to avoid threatening situations, and to deal instantly and effectively should a situation occur. SELF DEFENSE IS OUR FIRST OBJECTIVE...

We teach the Tracy System of Kenpo (traditional kenpo), focusing on private lessons, with real certified instructors. Having probably one of the most complete systems in the martial arts, we offer sessions for every individual need and offer family discount rates. We specialize in personalize training, and now offer a mediation / Kenpo healing art / tai chi / chi kung class called the INNER YOU!!! We are what mixed martial arts would like to be.

So called mixed martial arts schools do not teach every aspect of the martial arts, such as forms, tai chi, weapon defense etc... they may teach some shoot fighting or cage fighting concepts, and pass it off as self defense. Remember there are no rules, weight divisions in street fighting. Plus the threat of multiple attackers.

THE PASSING OF A GREAT MARTIAL ARTIST AND INSTRUCTOR

Dave Simmons was probably one of the most passionate martial artist and Instructor I have ever come across. What I admired the most about him was his (brutally) honest way of telling you what he thought. Some people may have taken it the wrong way (including me at first) but he only expressed himself that way to inspire and drive you to your full potential. At the Gathering of Eagle Seminar in '07 (where Master Simmons was also inducted into the Kenpo Hall of Fame), he instructed a class in developing the intensity/animal side of your training, even practicing forms (I loved the way he worked the room that day). He reminded me how training used to be and should be in Kenpo. Even though he may have passed, his lessons will always be remembered and practiced by ALL martial artist he trained or helped in one way or another (present company included).

In my opinion, Dave was and is one of the Best.
